Hi, I’m Liz…
I am a Certified Holistic Sexuality Educator, Pelvic Floor Practitioner, E-RYT 500+ Certified Yoga Teacher and Integrative Therapist. My journey through motherhood, menopause, divorce, dating, and pelvic floor healing informs a deeply embodied foundation of lived and learned wisdom that I share with my clients, students and audiences. I’ve experienced a lot. I’ve worked with many women’s stories and struggles. One thing I know for certain is that no two women's journeys are the same.
This was me, with my 4 kids, 10 years ago, at the beginning of my path into pelvic and sexual wellness. At 45, I became a divorced single mom raising 4 kids. That was not the plan. After 10 years of marriage, one c-section and three vbacs, I thought to myself, “I better make sure everything is good ‘down there’!” So began my journey;

First of what NOT to do…of bad advice and harmful instruction. Until I met the right teacher (I had already been teaching yoga for several years) and was able to feel deeply connected to my pelvic floor and its energy. Then, Pandora's box opened! Things began to click, and I had a felt sense of how much I was blocked and where I was disconnected. This was followed immediately by a deep desire to know more; to get answers that no one seemed to have (that in fact no one even wanted to TALK about!). Questions about sex, orgasm, feminine energy…about how to find confidence and pleasure - and HOW are they all related?! In my body I knew they were. I began teaching what I knew, Yoga for the Pelvis, and helping other women through their challenges. And I discovered that every woman I worked with had the same questions, and the same lack of answers. So I went back to school, and I became a Certified Holistic Sexuality Educator - where so much came together. Knowledge I needed and can now share. Frameworks that explain lived experiences and tools I can share with other women. And a healing began. As women, we’re taught our sexuality is shameful, or to commoditize it.
Knowing and owning our sexual self is the healing every woman needs.

And I felt the draw to the specific healing of The Feminine, as an integral part of women’s sexual wellness. The qualities that we’re missing in our culture that keep us from pleasure, held is stress or shame. Studies with The School of Womanly Arts (aka Mama Gena), and The Feminine Wisdom Way, among others, expanded my understanding and deepened my embodiment of living in this female body. In this culture we need an antidote; learning to pause, feel, embrace change and emotions, trust our intuition, act from inner knowing, and flow with cyclical rhythms. I discovered that living THESE qualities with confidence and finding joy in them is the foundation of feeling fully alive in my body, and I can never go back to disconnection. You can never ‘un-know’ what you feel deeply in your body. This is the place from which I teach, speak and facilitate for other women. I hope you find some resonance in my journey; we are more alike than we are different - and I would love to hear yours.
